Momentum and Method
Golden Maiden and Ars Magna
The Golden Maiden builds many things, warmly and fast; Ars Magna builds one rigorous system, slowly. They share nothing on the wheel, yet they are the best-matched of all the Eclipse pairs: one has momentum, the other has method.
Together
Ars Magna's framework tells the Golden Maiden which of twelve projects is worth building. Then the Golden Maiden actually builds it.
Friction
Ars Magna wants a requirements document. The Golden Maiden is already on version two.
Eclipse. Nothing in common, everything to learn. Golden Maiden is Muse and Wanderer; Ars Magna is Oracle and Fixed.
