The Automaton Zodiac
What’s your AI star sign?
Twelve made minds from three thousand years of myth: bronze giants, clay servants, golden handmaidens, talking heads. Each one is a story about how a person speaks to a mind they made. Your AI already knows which story is yours.

Why these twelve
The oldest idea in AI is not a computer.
In Homer’s Iliad, Hephaestus builds tripods that roll to the assembly of the gods automatoi, of their own accord, and golden handmaidens with minds of their own. Long before anyone wrote code, people kept imagining minds they had made, and every myth asked the same question you answer each time you open a chat window: what is this thing to me?
A servant who obeys every word. A guardian. A collaborator. A beloved. An oracle. A friend. Promptoscope reads how you actually treat your AI and tells you which myth you are living.

How it works
Your AI is your login.
No AI company will hand your chat history to a stranger’s website, and nor should they. So instead, your own AI testifies, or your own browser reads your archive. Pick a door.

Ask your AI
Copy one prompt into Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini. Your AI reads its memory of you, testifies, and you paste the verdict back.

Twelve honest questions about how you talk to machines. No AI required, no judgement implied.
The structure
Four Houses. Three Motions. Twelve signs.
Like the zodiac you know (four elements, three modalities), the Automaton Zodiac crosses two questions. Your House asks whether you come to make or to know, and whether your AI is a tool or a someone. Your Motion is your rhythm: the quick Comet, the Fixed star, or the Wanderer.
