Golem and Daidalon
Both treat AI as an instrument, but the Golem accepts the first answer and the Daidalon cross-examines it. On a shared project the Golem sprints ahead while the Daidalon follows behind asking 'source?'. Progress is slower than the Golem would like, and nobody ever sends the boss a wrong number.
Together
The Golem's speed plus the Daidalon's checking gives work that is both finished and correct, which is rarer than it ought to be.
Friction
The Daidalon's 'are you sure?' strikes the Golem as a personal attack on the machine.
