Goethe's Children
Pandora and Homunculus
Both are warm Hearth signs who come to understand. Pandora asks about anything on a whim and the Homunculus asks about everything at 2am. Together they get from 'why do cats purr?' to 'what is a self?' in under ten minutes.
Together
Some of the most interesting conversations on the wheel, full of wonder and good questions.
Friction
Pandora wants to move on to the next jar. The Homunculus is still inside the first one.
The myths agree
Goethe wrote both. His Homunculus seeks to come into being in Faust II, and in 1807-1808 he wrote a festival drama called Pandora, whose planned continuation he abandoned.
Kin. Same workshop, different hours. Pandora is Hearth and Comet; Homunculus is Hearth and Wanderer.
