The Guard and the Handmaiden
Talos and Golden Maiden
Both come to build, but the Golden Maiden ranges across a dozen projects while the Talos patrols one. As a team, the Golden Maiden starts things and the Talos makes sure they survive contact with real users. Breadth, meet vigilance.
Together
The Golden Maiden's prototypes become the Talos's well-tested products.
Friction
The Golden Maiden treats the AI as a partner and the Talos treats it as a suspect, so joint chats feel like a dinner party with a detective at the table.
The myths agree
Gold and bronze from the same forge: the golden maidens attend Hephaestus in Iliad 18.417-421, and one tradition in Apollodorus has Hephaestus give Talos to Minos (Bibliotheca 1.9.26).
Bridge. One shared value. The rest must be built. Talos is Forge and Fixed; Golden Maiden is Muse and Wanderer.
