Sent Out, Let Out
Tripod and Pandora
The Tripod sends the AI out on purpose; Pandora lets curiosity out of the jar on a whim. One is all systems, the other all spark. Unlikely colleagues, fabulous dinner guests.
Together
Pandora finds the interesting thing and the Tripod builds a workflow that finds a hundred more.
Friction
Pandora's chats have no plan whatsoever, and the Tripod finds that physically difficult to watch.
The myths agree
Both came out of the same divine workshop. Hephaestus built the self-moving tripods of Iliad 18.373-377, and Hesiod has him shape Pandora from earth and water (Works and Days 60-61).
Eclipse. Nothing in common, everything to learn. Tripod is Forge and Wanderer; Pandora is Hearth and Comet.
