Talos and Homunculus
The Talos uses AI to confirm that things are right; the Homunculus uses it to wonder whether 'right' means anything at all. One works in daylight from a checklist, the other wanders at night through metaphysics. They meet, roughly, at 'are you sure?'
Together
The Homunculus's big ideas get stress-tested by the Talos, and now and then the Talos's checklist gets a philosophical upgrade.
Friction
The Homunculus asks the AI how it feels. The Talos asks the AI why it is wrong. They will never agree on how to speak to the machine.
