The Bronze Workshop
Talos and Tripod
The Tripod sends automations out into the world and the Talos makes sure they come back in one piece. One builds the agents; the other writes the tests that keep the agents honest. It is one of the strongest working partnerships on the wheel.
Together
Automated, monitored and reviewed: their pipelines run themselves and still get inspected every morning.
Friction
The Tripod wants a new workflow every week. The Talos would like the old ones to stop failing first.
The myths agree
Both came out of Hephaestus's forge, by at least one tradition. The Iliad's self-moving tripods are his (18.373-377), and Apollodorus records that some said Talos was given to Minos by Hephaestus (Bibliotheca 1.9.26).
Kin. Same workshop, different hours. Talos is Forge and Fixed; Tripod is Forge and Wanderer.
